At certain points in our lives, we were also Secular Jews, and didn’t know it.
Hello, we’re Ross and Rebekka Helford.
Through our involvement as teachers and leaders with the Sholem Community, we have found meaning, purpose, identity, music, and, yes, even a little ritual in a secular Jewish setting.
Each of us is an ordained vegvayzer (Yiddish), madrikh/madrikha (Hebrew), or leader (English).
You can think of us as Secular Jewish Clergy.
Although we are based primarily in Los Angeles, we are willing to travel to support your family in navigating its most sacred and precious moments in ways that honor all the parts of your family’s identity, Jewish and otherwise. It would be our honor and pleasure to walk alongside you you in your journey through the seasons of life.
